Easter Weekend, Miami and US tour coming up

Hey guys,

SO its easter im on my way to the UK to do the Cream weekend, first up, 2 shows on Saturday with my boys Sebastian Ingrosso & Axwell as the Swedish House Mafia, Warehouse Project in Manchester and then Cream in Liverpool, gonna be huge!!!! Then off to London for our first appearance together in London at KOKO, gonna be loads of fun and we also have a orchestra supporting us live with some nice suprises :)

Then its off to Miami, think its gonna be really this year with a lot of great parties, we are of course doing our SHM party this year too at SET and it looks to be even bigger than last year!

I will also do, Wetgrooves on Wed the 26th Juicy Beach on Thursday and the DIDDY party at cameo on Friday the 28th!

So all of you who will be in Miami, hope to see you all there!!

Hey all.

We’re really sorry to be telling all the people who had planned to come to mine and Sebastian’s gig in Edinburgh tonight we haven't been able to get there today. Due to some serious problems at the swedish passport control (my passport had been reported stolen by someone) so they didnt let me fly. Me and Sebastian had to go to the airport police in order to get a temporary passport, but it took a lot longer than expected so we missed our one and only option flight to get to Edinburgh

We’re really sorry about this!! It wasnt within our control. But tomorrow we will be back on track to continue rest of the gigs for the weekend.

Hopefully we can find a new replacement date soon

Brazil Again !

HI Guys ! just finished my little mini-tour in Brazil ! Once again it hits me how amazing this place is ! it´s full of life and people really appreciate the music and the partys ! it has to be one of my favourite places in the world to visit ! Wednesday i played in a city Called Goiania , Really good vibe and people had a really nice time ! loads od Alcohol and loads of fun !! , Thursday i went to Sao Paulo to do a Party at a place called Museum , Really Exclusive vibe , more luxury/vip people , but they enjoyed themselves ! Friday i left to Buzios , for a gig at Priveledge ! i had a blast !! i been there before and know allot of people there so it was a really really really fun Party !
Saturday i Came to Florianopolis ! i loooove that place ! the enegy is on top and people are up for partying , loved the club , the clubbers and the vibe ! probably the best on the the tour !

i´m off to Stockholm in 4 hours , hopefully no delays on the way , so i can get home in time , next weekend i´m doing a party in poland called the Carnival Tunnel , it´s a Brizilian theme cause of the carnival in Brazil the same day , so more brazil for me :)

after that i have a swedish party on the 30th on January ! Me , Sebastian & Mark Knight ! it´s the Premiere of La´Mode , wich is a party we are doing once a month in Stockholm ..

Then i´m of to the US for 3 weeks !! , playing Cielo on the 7th , leaving to Miami on the 9th for a gig at Mansion , and a mini vacation for 5 days , after that San Francisco , LA & Vegas !

i´ll upload some pix from Brazil as soon as i get them !!

ps. Have to add that i´m doing The Plug in Sheffield and Paradise in Manchester on the 26th of January !!

Hi Guys !!

I just recovered from Australia ! i´m back home in the studio and doing some new tracks , it´s har to get in to the studio after massive tours , it takes time to get the studio vibe going , and then when you get it working you have to jet off to gigs , so to keep the workflow going i start ideas in the studio and bring them with me on the road , it´s the only way i can get stuff done !!
We have a whole line of releases coming in the next couple of months and we´ll have a remix competition as well for a new SIZE release , i´ll let you all know when it´s time !

i have to say there´s allot of good music out there at the moment, so i have been burning a new CD case for the upcoming gigs with brand new music . if anyone can give me a tip of the best cd writable printer it would be much appreciated !! i need to mark those cd´s and can´t be bothers with crap printers and stickers .....

if anyone have some questions you need answered i would love to answer them for you ! so just post some questions and i´ll select a few and answer them !!

HI Guys ! i have been really pissed off the last couple of days !!!!!
i fucking hate people putting our music for download on there bloggs and so on !
we work our asses off in the studio to make a track , we put money into remixes , artwork , marketing , webbased promotion , promotional downloading systems and so on , to get everything right ! and then what happends ??? well some kid gets ahold of the track , don´t ask me how , and gives it away for free ?!?!?!?!?
honestly what the fuck is wrong with people ?
one thing they don´t understand is that if we cant sell our music and break even we wont put out more music , and producers will stop producing music cause they can´t live a life where everything is free !! young producers stop making music cause they can´t pay there bills , eat food or things like that !
why the fuck do people want to ruin another persons carrer ???
why can´t people just go to itunes , beatport m juno , djdownload or any other mp3 store and just buy a track ? it´s one dollar !!!!! if it continues like this i wont make any more tracks and i wont release music on SIZE , i´ll stop it unless people start respecting other peoples businesses ..... i feel bad for all those young new label owners that are struggling everyday to pay there bills , and all those young producers who wont get payed for remixes cause labels dont make money !
dont you get it . when you share music you will get one less producer each day !
if you continue like this people will stop doing records and stop releasing on there labels ! cause it´s to expensive to run a label for free !!!

ok i´m gonna start of with thanking everybody thats been to my gigs this year!
its been an amazing experience this year ! , allot of fun , allot of partying , allot of gigs and allot of success for the swedish house mafia !
i´m really happy to be in this position i am right now , and i have all of you to thank for that! i´m greatful every second of my life , and i´m blessed , cause i´m doing what i love to do !

Before the year is over i have two more gigs to do , Wednesday i´m playing ESQUE in stockholm , i wanna finish off 2007 with a dirty little party ! and thats the spot to do that ! then the 26th Me , Axwell and Sebastian are doing a SHM show @ Cream in loverpool ! it´s gonna be the last gig of the year for the Swedish House Mafia , and if i´m right we are gonna party our asses of and hopefully will you to !! ,

after those two dates me and sebastian are on our way to Australia , we are gonna play NYE there and do a 6 gig tour ! i love Australia so it´s gonna be a nice experience!! specially me and seb in the sun for 6 days , we are probably gonna be drunk the whole stay :) ... no not really , but almost !

2008 looks like it´s gonna be an even bigger year for me then -07 , we have the new Distribution deal done for SIZE , we have new compilations planned , Buy Now Album , Steve Angello Album , SIZE second Birthday at Ministry of Sound , SIZE @ WMC , SHM @ WMC , SHM in Ibiza , Brazil tour , a new America / Canada Tour , Asia and europe , allot allot allot of nice things happening ! so hopefully we can all enjoy next year as much as possible !! we are gonna rock next year !!

Finally back from Brazil ! i have to say it´s one of the most beautiful places in the worls , i love it everytime i put my feet on the ground , it´s one of those places i miss when i get back home , the food , the ulture , the people , the clubs , the whole country , and i got good new today that i´ll be going there again in January , so i´m a happy DJ today :) ..

i´m off to dubai tomorrow morning with Seb, we are gonna play at Trilogy so i´m excited about that !! we have two days off work so we are just gonna spend some time in the sun and relax , if i have time i will even play some tennis , and probably kill myself afterwords cause my legs are gonna be hurting ALLOT !!! it´s raining , snowing it´s dark and boring here at home so i really need to get some sun !!

HI Guys ! Sorry i haven´t been the best blogger in the world lately ! but it´s just cause i´v been so busy keeping up with work i haven´t had any time at all writing down thoughts or what i´v been up to .

I´m in Brazil at the moment doing three gigs here , first one is tonight and it´s a Pre-Party to the RIO Creamfields Festival on Saturday , the second one is tomorrow and it´s Creamfields in Belo Horizonte ! witch will be Amazing , it´s ME , Sharam (Deep Dish) , Benny Benassi and some more guys , so it will be fun , third one is a club outside of Sao Paulo called ANZU Club , witch i heard is really really good ! so i´l def looking forward to that !! , Three days of Sun & Fun in Brazil when the weather is shit back home is exactly what i neeeed !!!

Production´s been going really well ! . i might have an album ready for miami in march , and the buy now album is coming along pretty well , allot of stuff we have been doing can´t even be heard out cause allot of people rip everything we do so we are trying to keep it on a down low , until release !

Steve Angello "Trix" just got in to Beatport , the vinyl release was shit cause the distribution i used AMATO/UNIQUE fucked up the release and sent around to much white labels , and then they closed down the office , they went Bankrupt , so SIZE will continue to release vinyls soon on another distribution , i´ll let u know later when papers are done ... soo fuck AMATO they fucked up the release for me ! but it´s out on Digital now , so if u wanna buy it hit the Beatport store .

anyways life is pretty good at the moment except for the record business , allot of work , allot of fun and allot of partying !

Hi Guys !! .

i´m finally back in shape , after two weeks of vacation (except four gigs in between) , and i feel full of power and creativity !!

i had an amazing time in ibiza for my vacation , and had fantastic gigs there as well !

i´m gonna get the Steve Angello Myspace site up and running this week , we got in touch with the person that had registered it and we are ready to step in to the myspace world .

the SIZErecords.com website is also under a huge reconstruction and will be online in a couple of weeks , if everything runs as smooth as the previous sites we have done , its gonna be easier to keep uptodate and it will be easier for people interested in the label to read about it and listen to music coming from the SIZE camp .

i´v done allot of new trax that will hit the streets soon , one of them is called TRIX it´s with a tocadisco remix , the other one is called "keep keep on" it features an artist know here in stockholm for beeing one of the best rappers/entertainers around and is called Timbuktu ! he´s an amazing talent and i just couldn´t wait longer then this to get him on one of my trax !
i´m also releasing a new Who´s Who? record called "Klack" it´s a more bassdriven techy/minimal number (my type of minimal , less sounds then usual records) .

the Innersphere "phunk" record was witouth adoubt one of the biggest records in ibiza over the summer every club i went to played my mix at least 3 times and every dj i´v heard have played it as well ! , so if you wanna hear it just go to www.beatport.com and search for "Size Records" to check it out !.

the jakarta gig was much better then singapor , the party vibe was amazing people freaked out as we rocked the place ! so i thought jakarta woul be more of a rave but it was nothing close it was a more fashionable high class society place but the party was ROCKING !

HI Guys ! on my way home ! had a really good time yesterday it was a beautiful club !
there ware no flights available so i have to do : porto - lisbon - madrid - stockholm ... so i´m gonna be home at 00.20 wich is crazy ! 12 h of travelling . thats insane ! i have my first day in the new studio tomorrow so i don´t really care as long as i can get home !!

MTV Selected consists of four badass parties (in Copenhagen, Oslo, Gothenburg and Stockholm). At each party, our jury of skilled professional DJ's will select finalists who go on to the grand finale in Stockholm. Make the crowd go wild!

This is what you've got to do to prove it:

These six DJ's are all competing for the grand prize: One winner gets selected to be the WARM UP DJ for one of the top DJ jury members at one of Europe's hottest nightclubs!

All DJs who qualify to the grande finale in Stockholm will recieve a Pioneer EFX 1000. And the winning DJ at the grande finale will also recieve a Pioneer DJM 800!

Friday - Mix Club - Paris
HI Guys ! . i´v had an amazingly smooth weekend , on friday i did MIX Club in Paris and it´s still one of my favourite clubs in europe , it´s a beautiful club with a really good sound system and a nice atmosphere . some of my biggest tracks ware - Mopping "Open Legs" and Shinedoe "Phunk" (Steve Angello Remix) .
The Place went of from the start and the 2 hours felt like 30 seconds . before i noticed i had to leave the dex :) . Chris Lake played after me and did a good job.
we had a late flight out of there and we had time for some shopping , it´s always nice when u find some sneakers and t-shirts

Saturday - Bypass - Geneva
we arrived at 19.00 and ware so hungry i coulden´t even think . i just wanted to that was the only thing i could think about . we arrived at a hotel called La Reserve and it´s one of the most beautiful resorts i stayed at ! , the rooms , spa , restaurants and the view was amazing ! . my room was like an apartment and the terrace was as big as the room :) . ok back to reality , the venue looked amazing and the vibe was right from the second i stepped in there ! one thing that is sad is that most of the high society clubs never put enough money on sound systems as they do on design wich is a bit shitty , they could have had a more popular and dj friendly club if they would invest in proper sound system , anyways i was dancing and listening to DJ Andrew from Zurich , he did a really good job , he left it when they ware ready to explode and they did , the whole night was a success and hopefully i will continue my jurney through swiss with a vibe like that !! i never had time to go to the spa and relax cause i stayed out a little bit to late to catch the morning sun , i went to sleep around 9 in the morning , so i had to sleep to at least 15.00 until i could wake up without being tired , i´m on the plane now on my way home , but to be honest i don´t wanna go home i want to continue to play at least 3-4 more gigs in a row , at this state i´m at now i have this extra NRG that can make me do 20 gigs a month ! i´m feeling really good and i´m really pumped for the ibiza season ! summers in europe is amazing i love it so much i could play every single day for the rest of my life !!!

Ministry Of Sound !!!!

OH My GOD ! .
i had a BLAST doing ministry again! i love coming there and doing my thing , i had Lottie and Laidback Luke over and they both did a great job ! lottie sprinkled her magic over the ministry floor and left me and luke standing there with a hot floor ready to explode ! Luke did a good job dropping those huge tracks , he played tracks like "Otherwize then" he´s remake of bucked headz and remix of calabria . i was ready to go and got my set going around 3.30! i played tracks like Shinedoe , teasing mr charlie , new remix of john dahbacks "everyware" and new signings to SIZE . i had a special guest there as well that was there to party :) . Sebastian came with us and that was really fun since i spend most time with my friends working and not just having fun on the side ! . thats something important to me and it´s something everyone should take care of ! .

Ministry is a specal place and my SIZE partys are doing really well ! . over the next couple of months i´m gonna make SIZE go global ! . im gonna set up partys all over Europe and South America , fist off will be my release party for the compilation i´m doing , it´s gonna be a double mixed CD mixed by me and out on SIZE .

i´m gonna send u an update tomorrow about my life ! .

I MISSED SHINDIG !!!!! i fucking hate airports and i fucking hate the staff at the airports ! i was sitting here at the airport in stockholm for 4 hours and then they told me "we don´t have enough people in the control tower so we have a 2 hour extra delay" witch ment that i would miss my connection to newcastle with over 1 hour ! . and that was the last and only flight to newcastle that day ! , HOW CAN U RUN AN AIRPORT IF U DON´T HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO OPERATE IT ??????????? Hi Guys ! .sorry i haven´t been around for a while , i´v been really buzy in the studio lately so i haven´t spend enought time infront of the computer to write the blog .
The last weeks have been really fun and successful ! .

The Size Birthday bash was a huge success !!!!!! i had so much fun i almost wanna go back there every day to do it all over again !.

We had Henrik B Starting out and he did a great job , he played most of hes own productions and for those of u who knows hes work you know it´s off the hook ! the place went of from the opening and when we arrived we had a great floor waiting to go off ! . Me and Seb started out with Freakx Brothers "Tension" and then we played a NEW HOT SIZE Release from Roman Salzger named "Sincerely Yours" it´s one of those tracks that goes off everytime ! . I LOVE playing it i can see the dance floors all over the world explode when i drop this ! . we played 4-5 Hours so we did the usual and built up up up up and up and then we went down to be able to go up again :) i hope u get it ? . We had extra stuff set up all over the club and it looked great ! the cake was amazing and tasted as good as it looked ! thanks ministry for amazing birthday !! i had a blast !

HI Guys ! . just sitting here at the airport in frankfurt waiting for my flight back home ! .
i have an exciting week in front of me ! allot of studio and work around a compilation i´m planing later this year , i will bring out something exciting for the people who buys it with allot of extra features and bonus material only available for those who buy it :) .

I had a blast yesterday ! i loved the club , and all the people who worked there .
A Really nice crew of people and a super nice night club , it´s always fun when u can come to some places and just play whatever u feel like playing and people are up for it , thats the way it should be !

tracks like : Phunk (s.a mix) and click , buy now , and also some more minimal things rocked the place ! when i say minimal i don´t mean "miiiiiiiinnnnniiiiiimal" , i play minimal with balls :) more energy !

in general a realy good gig ! the only fucked up thing is that i have to sit here at paris airport for 3 hours to catch the flight to turino . but tonight should be really good so i wont complain ! i just did but anyways ignore it :) ..

Finally back home and full of energy !
it´s been three amazing weeks full of gigs , fun and loads of traveling .

26th January 2007 - Kiev

i came to a full house in Kiev , the party was off the hook , the place was packed with about 10.000-12.000 people . i just got in and did a tv interview for a local program and then it was time to get on the decks ! there was a girl playing before me i can´t remember her name , she did a good warmup set and played more progressive and chunky , i got on a "dj booth" that they had set up on a lift :) . and i mean a lift ! they sent me like 20 meters up in the air and honestly i was shitting my pants !! i mean think if that thing drops or gets stuck , i´m not Superman , when i just reached the top i realized they never left my cd´s in the lift so i was "a bit" stressed , cause i´m 20 meters up in the air and had about 1 minuet to play a record :) , i just love those things , well i told the guys by screaming and shouting and after a couple of seconds they brought me down ! got my cd´s and just had enough time to get on with the show . I insisted on the lift being lower cause i had allot better feeling with the people when it was low then if i´m up there in the sky ! (it´s not only something i say cause i shit my pants ;( hahahahaha) . The night went really good and the biggest tracks for me was Laidback Luke "Hypnotized" (Steve Angello Mix) , Innersphere "phunk" (Steve Angello Edit) , Marcella "Stabbing Sally" and my own "Teasing Mr.Charlie" .

27th January 2007 - Angels Of Love - Napoli

THIS is a place u have to check out !!!! LOVED IT , Napoli is a beautiful people ! and the guys involved in the club are really really nice to ! i loved it !
i started to play pretty late after Steve Lawler , i had a full club and had a good set to follow ! , i dropped tracks like Innersphere , Audion "mouth to mouth" and the whole place started grooving , the whole set was more minimal but still with allot of energy ! i like allot of minimal stuff but for me it was to be allot of energy to fit in my set ! anyways , i was doing my thing and played as long as they could keep the club opened ! in the end the owner came up to me and asked if i could end my set , after a couple of more tracks he asked again and again and in the end i had to finish ! but i had a great time and it was really nice playing there ! i think it´s one of the best party´s in italy ! so if your around go heck it out ! "angels of love" .

2nd February 2007 - Catwalk - Barcelona

one of my favorite clubs ! i love this place and i go back all the time . it so nice being in barcelona cause i have allot of friends there and it´s always something nice happening every night , this night a friend of mine had his birthday dinner so i joined them for it ! and it was nice , 25 guys talking bullshit and making fun of anything ,
i came to the club it was a bit empty cause as u know if u been to barcelona or spain in general u know that people go out really really late and that was the reason i was a bit early ! . anyways the place got packed and i started to play ! i was a bit drunk from the dinner but it´s always fun from time to time :) . i played mostly my own tracks and the people liked it allot ! i played a couple of hours and then i started to go a bit more clubby , but i had a hard time to get the people to follow to be honest ! some people loved it but some didn´t feel it at all , thats the problem with places like barcelona it´s so much people that are not suppose to be in clubs that goes there and then they can´t understand the music so they just stand around ! thats the kinda people i wanna send to cafés instead !! but anyways in general the night was good and i had allot of fun !!!

8-9th February 2007 - Trilogy - Dubai

wow this was one of the best weekend i had in a long time ! i had such a great time this time i was in dubai , i love when u have more time then just going to a hotel then club then hotel and then home ! me and Sebastian spend two lovely days here ! we went to the beach ! we had outdoors bbq , we played tennis , we went to see arabic guys skiing inside a mall :) and we went our two night in a row !
first the 8th we arrived super tired from the flight but still ready for some fun ! we hit the beach straight away and chilled there for two hours before we noticed the BBQ they had standing around :) i just love those things so i was like a kid on christmas morning . ordering everything they had :) . then after that we went to the room to sleep cause the jetlag was catching up ! we woke up ten in the evening and went straight to a place called 360 or something like that 1 it was me , seb , tom novy and some other friends ! we had a blast ! started to have a couple of drinks and the next second i was singing along to sexy back :) then we hit Trilogy ware Tom was playing ! we had a really good time there to ! we met allot of fun people and then at three i just hit bed !
when i woke up the 9th we went to the pool-side for a bit but the weather was not that good so i was freezing , it was so cold i could use my nipples to hang the towel on !! :)
we took a walk in the mall instead and then we played some tennis ! i was so tired after the tennis i had to hit bed for a while ! i woke up after a while and rushed to the club !
we did a good set ! i mean in dubai there´s only party´s until 3 so u don´t have to plan the set that much u just have to go there and have fun !!!
it´s a place u have to see ! it´s full of fun things and the constructions and the malls etc .. it´s amazing to see !

10th February 2007 - Rohstofflager - Zurich

OFF THE HOOK !!! i was really shocked when i came here ! it´s one of those clubs ware the clubbing lifestyle lives ! people dress in a special way ! they act in a spacial way! and they love the music in a special way !
i loved this club ! around 2500 people and more clubby the this is hard to find ! i had such a great time ! i think this is one of the best clubs in swiss ! no doubt !!!
i okyed allot harder then i use to but thats kind of the way i like it ! i did a 2 hour set and had allot allot of fun !!! ..

Last Weekend of the month

HI Guys ! . The last weekend of the month is coming up and it looks like it´s gonna be a big one !!
Tomorrow i´m in Kiev (ukraine) doing a huge party for about 10.000 people , i´m so pumped i can´t wait ! i have a bunch of new tracks that i´m looking forward to play ! i have some new stuff from me as well tat i wanna try ! i just finished a new remix of a track called - Innersphere "phunk" on SIZE (my label) it´s more techy and minimal but in a really pumping way , like Teasing Mr.Charlie if u know what i mean ? , then i got 2 new Steve Angello Productions that i´m really happy with that i´m gonna blast all through the weekend ! . Saturday i´m in Napoli in south Italy ! i´m doing "Angels of Love"and it´s one of those clubs i´v wanted to do for a long time and the time has come so i´m all in on that one , its party time !!!!!!!

i´m back home sunday and on monday i will go to a ski resort called "Åre" it´s 30 mins flight from stockholm and it´s like a winter party place some of the weekends so i´m up for that to ! it´s gonna be fun hopefully the cold wont slow down the dancin , eather way i´ll get them hot and going all night so if your based in sweden get your ass over to ÅRE !!

Upcoming gigs January

I'm finishing January off, now on Friday the 26th in Kiev, at the Studdance party in the Expo Plaza and then on Sat the 27th I'm doing Angels of love in Naples.

Brazil Again !

HI Guys . i haven´t written anything for a while . sorry for that , i just been enjoying myself so much so i haven´t spent time in front of the computer at all ! .
Brazil´s been great , i love this place so much i could consider living here !.
i spent most time on a island Called Florianapolis just an hour outside the main land . one gig have been better then the other and i´m really really happy with the whole tour ! . Sao Paulo was the first stop in brazil and the club was called Disco , a high society venue with rich & important people , the vibe was a bit stiff at the start but after a while i got them grooving to the music and the party was on !! i had a great time and met allot of good people ! Second stop was Florianapolis and the PARTY WAS AMAZING !!!! i arrived there about 1000 people and the place was on fire ! everyone was up for a loooong party and so was i !! So after 5 hours it was time to get back to the hotel so i could enjoy my holiday !
i stayed at a place called "Costao Do Santinho" , one of the most beautiful places i´v been and me and my girlfriend a had one of the best vacations ever ! i didnt do anything just eat , got loads of sun and had amazing sleeping hours ! if u ever have the chance to go there don´t even think about it more then a second ! u have to go !!! .. i´ll tell u about te other gigs tomorrow ! time to sleeeeeep

Vacation !!

WOW i needed this !!!!!!!! ..
i´v been on vcation for a couple of days and i´m enjoying it so much i wish i had a lifetime vacation in the sun ! i´m still in cartagena and it´s really beautiful the way the "old town" is built , it´s like an old castle and they have built a small city inside , it feels like i´m back in the day when they lived here . It´s super exotic and different from any other place i have been to , the weather is great , the hotel is beautiful and the food is amazing . I´m just laying on the Roof -Top Pool all day and relaxing with my girlfriend . i´m off to Brazil the 10th for yet another tour and i´m really looking forward to it , after a couple of days off i really feel the need to play some records ! i´m loaded with new stuff and i´m ready to go :) . i´m Starting of the tour in Sao Paulo doing a club called "Disco" the 12th , then on the 13th i´m going to "Confraria" in Florianopolis , i´ll probably stay in Florianopolis for a couple of days by the coast to get some more sun :) after that i´m playing "Cozumel" in Belo Horizonte and finishing of at Privilege in Rio (Buzios) , after that i´m off home ! get some work in the studio and get my ass back on the european roads for some more gigs :) !!!
